33-year-old cricketer dies of heart attack, Fielding coach of Team India remembers something like this

Former Hyderabad fast bowler Ashwin Yadav died of a heart attack on Saturday. He was 33. He is survived by his wife and three sons.

Yadav, who made his Ranji Trophy debut in 2007 against Punjab in Mohali, played 14 first-class matches and took 34 wickets. He did his best against Delhi in the 2008-09 season at Uppal Stadium, taking six wickets for 52 runs.

His last Ranji match was against Mumbai in 2009. He, however, continued to play in the local league for State Bank of Hyderabad and then SBI. He also played 10 List A and two T20 matches.

Fielding coach of the Indian team R Sridhar expressed grief over the death of Yadav. He tweeted, ‘Sad to hear the news of Ashwin Yadav’s demise. He was very cheerful and totally a ‘team man’. I will pray to God to give strength to his family. om Shanti. Will miss you. ‘

Off-spinner Vishal Sharma was his fellow player, saying that Yadav always had a smile on his face. He said, ‘He was a’ team man ‘and played in the local league. I am not sure that he has passed away. ‘
