Famous Malayalam actor Prabesh Chakkalakal fell on the set during film shooting and died in Kochi, Kerala on Monday. The 44-year-old actor, who also worked as a popular dubbing artist, was allegedly shooting for Cochin College, a YouTube channel when he suddenly collapsed on the set and died. The day the film was being shot, it was about waste management in the state. Waste was disposed of in the telefilm on the Kundanur Bund Road in Kochi. Prabesh was playing the role of a foreign citizen who reacts to the vision.
A report by Samalika Malayalam stated that the actor felt unwell when he finished his part of the shoot and took a group photo with his co-workers. He even asked for water as he felt his tongue dry. He drank water and soon fell on the set
The report mentions colleagues alleging that the actor’s colleagues tried to take him to the hospital but could not arrange the vehicle on time. By the time he could reach the hospital, Prabesh died.

The actor was famous for his many roles in telefilms. He worked as a dubbing artist in several popular Malayalam films. Prabesh was recently seen playing the role of Mahabali in an Onam show for the Cochin Collage Channel. Prabesh was also a member of the Christian Service Society (CSS) State Committee.
The late actor is survived by his father Joseph, wife Jansi and child Tanya. According to reports, Prabesh will be buried in Mardu Mothedam Church.
