If one entertainment portal’s recent report is to be believed, another star kid is gearing up to make his Hindi cinema debut. We are talking about Junaid Khan, son of Aamir Khan. Junaid is rumored to enter the world of films with Yash Raj Films’ next project. Yes, you read that right!
YRF, which has launched the likes of Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh and Parineeti Chopra, will provide Junaid the launching pad. According to a report by ETimes, Star Kid will be seen romancing another newbie Bollywood actress in her debut film. Junaid will star in ‘Arjun Reddy’ fame Shalini Pandey, who is reportedly playing the female lead role in the upcoming project. Siddharth P Malhotra, who succeeded Rani Mukerji-starrer ‘Hichki’, will don the director’s hat for Junaai’s debut film.
The report further states that Shavri Vagh, who will be seen in Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji’s film ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’, will be a part of the film. The upcoming film will go on floors in the first quarter of 2021.
Shalini has reportedly signed a three-film deal with YRF. She is making her big Bollywood debut with ‘Jayeshbhai Jordan’ which also stars Ranveer Singh. The film was originally slated to hit the silver screen in October 2020; However, it was delayed due to the COVID-19 crisis.
Shalini shot to fame after playing the role of Preity in ‘Arjun Reddy’ with Vijay Deverakonda. Later he acted in films like ‘100% Kadhal’ and ‘118’ and ‘Bampad’.
Talking about Aamir Khan, Bollywood’s’ Mr. Perfectionists will next be seen in ‘Lal Singh Chadha’. The film, which is said to be the official adaptation of ‘Forest Grumps’, will now be released on Christmas 2021. It was scheduled to hit the cinema hall in December 2020; The producers decided to postpone the film’s release date due to the COVID-19 crisis. Kareena Kapoor Khan also plays an important role in ‘Lal Singh Chadha’.
