Accused of Babri demolition achieved after 28 years, Swara Bhaskar, Anubhav Sinha and other B’wood celebs REACT


Mumbai: Many Bollywood celebrities reacted on Wednesday to the news of the acquittal of all 32 people accused in the Babri Masjid demolition case of 6 December 1992. B-town celebrities took to their verified Twitter accounts to give feedback on the development.

Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha said in a sarcastic retort, “Congratulations to Shri Lal Krishna Advani. Now you can be acquitted of accusations of drawing the same bloody line on the soul of this country. May God give you a very long life.”

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta was also cautious in his comment: “The Babri Masjid demolition was an act of God.”

Actress Gauhar Khan shared: “But definitely! It was an earthquake! Hahahahaha. The joke is on us!”

Actress Swara Bhaskar wrote: “Babri Masjid Khuda Hi Geer Gaya (Babri Masjid fell on its own).”

Actor Sushant Singh expressed: “Na koi aaya, na koi na koi masjid bani thi (No one came, no one built the mosque) #RIPJustice.”

Actor-politician Prakash Raj tweeted: “#BabriMasjidDemolitionCase HIT n RUN case .. DRIVERS acquitted. JUSTICE arrested and BURIED .. NEW INDIA #JustAsking.”

Director Anil Sharma wrote: “Sabari Arpoi Bari in the Babri case .. Congratulations.”

Filmmaker Onir reacted saying: “It was not expected to be any different.”

Those acquitted in the 28-year-old case include former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani, former Union Minister MM Joshi, Uma Bharti, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh and Mahant Nritya Gopal Das.
