Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has tested positive for COVID-19. The actor revealed the update from his social media and said that he has already isolated himself with full caution.
Sonu revealed in a statement that read, “Hi everyone, this is to inform you that I have tested positive for COID-19 this morning. As a part of precautions I have already calmed myself. And taking the utmost care. But don’t worry. That gives me enough time to solve your problems. Remember I am always there for you all. “
Sonu Sood has been making selfless and tireless efforts for the welfare of the citizens of the country since the nationwide lockout was implemented last year due to the outbreak of COVID-19. The ‘Prithviraj’ actor sent several migrant laborers home, who were trapped after the lockout was implemented. He also gave a helping hand to the students trapped outside the country and helped them reach home. They arranged buses, trains and flights for the migrants.
Sonu Sood is famous for his philanthropic activities and since last year he has helped many people. He also helped those in need of medical assistance and provided support through his charity foundation.
On the professional front, Sonu Sood started his acting career with Tamil films in the 1999 films ‘Kalzagarg’ and ‘Nenjinail’. He made his Hindi film debut in the 2002 film Shaheed-e-Azam. Sonu Sood has appeared in films like ‘Aashiq Bana Aapne’, ‘Jodha Akbar’, ‘Singh is King’, ‘Arundhati’, ‘Dabangg’, ‘Simba’.
Sonu Sood will next be seen in Akshay Kumar starter ‘Prithviraj’ and ‘Thamilarsan’.
