Ahmedabad Test: Fans try to meet at Modi Stadium by breaking bio-bubble, Virat Kohli appears to be escaping

During the third Test match of the series being played between India and England at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, a fan reached the ground to meet Virat Kohli. On the first day on Wednesday, during the third session game, a spectator broke the security cordon and tried to meet Virat but he himself appeared to avoid it.

Virat gestured the young man to stay away and was caught by the security personnel as he ran back towards the stand. He was later cut off from another road, near Reliance and Stand. Some other fans later stood on that side and started to see what action the security personnel would take against him.

A security guard posted at the stadium said that a case has been registered against him and investigation is being done.

The cricket fan was identified as 21-year-old Ajay Thakur, a resident of Bhilwas. Chandkheda Police has registered a case against him under Section 188 of the IPC. He tried to break the bio-security bubble but his wish could not be fulfilled.
