Airtel had increased the price of its smart recharge only last month. This is the only Rs 24 plan that the company offers first. Apart from this, the company used to offer new users a plan of Rs 197 as first recharge. However, now new users will also be able to avail Airtel’s service by doing a smart recharge of Rs 45. Smart recharge offers a validity of 28 days. For calling, users will have to get a separate talk time voucher. The outgoing call rate is 2.5 paise per second.
First recharge coupon required
All the telecom companies of the country are giving new SIM to the users without any charge, but for the prepaid service of the company, it is necessary to provide a minimum recharge to the users. In Airtel it said ‘First recharge coupon is required for activating new connection.’ Explain that after the minimum recharge is over, the company will automatically deduct Rs 45 from the current talk time balance.
Four first recharge plans
Apart from Rs 45, the company is offering four first recharge plans to users. In the first recharge plan of Rs 197, 300 free SMS and unlimited voice calling are being given with 28 days validity. Users get a total of 2 GB of data in the plan. At the same time, 1.5 GB data is being given daily in the first recharge plan of Rs 297 with 28 days validity. In this plan, along with Daily 100 free SMS, unlimited calling benefit is also being given. The Rs 497 first recharge plan comes with 56 days validity and the Rs 647 first recharge plan comes with 84 days validity. In both plans, users get 1.5 GB of data daily. These four plans are live from 3 December.
