Amitabh Bachchan confirmed on Friday that his new film Jhad will be released in theaters on June 18. The film is directed by Sairat producer Nagraj Manjule.

Big B played a role in the upcoming sports drama based on Slum Soccer founder Vijay Barsay. The film tells the story of a professor who encourages street children to form a football team, to help them find a purpose in life.
