Protests are continuing across the country against the Citizen Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC). While some people are demonstrating on the streets, there are some who are raising their voices on social media.
There is a constant debate between all this why superstars especially Bollywood’s Khans (Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir) are silent on this matter.
Recently protesters protesting against CAA and NRC in Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh Shahrukh Khan shoot at. For this, he used the song ‘Tujhe dekha to yeh jaana sanam’ from the film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge of the actor.
Through the song, the protesters questioned Shahrukh’s silence in the case. Let me tell you, these stars did not react to the CAA and NRC, nor did they even tweet at the violence in JNU, Jamia and Aligarh Muslim University. At the same time, other Bollywood actors have reacted to the case Ayushman Khurana, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgan.
Talking about the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in director Anand L. Rai’s film Zero. The film also featured Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in important roles.
