The special thing is that the new A14 processor is being manufactured with the new 5nm process of TSMC. In such a situation, the new iPhones will be many times more powerful than the previous device and perform better. Recently, a new analysis has said that Apple A14 chipset will be given in the iPhone 12 series, due to which the new devices will be as powerful as the 15-inch MacBook Pro. Jason Cross of MacWorld said that with the help of the new iPhone processor, the performance will be many times better. He said in his report that the increase in performance can be achieved from 7nm process to 5nm process node. Chinese smartphone maker Huawei may also switch to a 5nm process node in its next mobile platform, it is believed.
5nm process will upgrade
Cross said, ‘This is a major upgrade. The 5nm node is not half the step of any stretch, but the next ‘full node’ after 7nm. ‘ He also said that an improved transistor density of 15 billion transistors has been developed by TSMC with 5nm process. According to Cross, this is such a big thing that Apple Total Chip Area can cover 85mm square and this chip will have 12.5 billion transistors. Apple is already ahead of its mainstream rivals in terms of performance and the new upgrade will bring the company into a different league.
Gaming performance will be better
Switching the Apple A14 processor to 5nm process will also benefit from better multi-core performance. Also, octa-core configuration can be seen in Apple’s new iPhones. Due to this, gaming performance will also switch to a completely new platform. Apart from this, it has been revealed that Apple may also launch some devices in the new iPhone 12 lineup with 6 GB RAM. This series can already see 50 percent better gaming performance, which will be available due to more transistors in the GPU.
