Australia vs India 1st T-20: India beat Australia in first T20, here are the big turning points of the match

India on Friday scored 161 for 7 wickets in 20 overs in the match played at Manuka Oval in Canberra, after which the Australian team could manage 150 runs for 7 wickets. The second T20 match of the series will be played in Sydney on 6 December.

Steve Smith’s bat didn’t work

This Australian player is the most dangerous. Steve Smith’s bat speaks strongly against India. But today, he did not stand in front of Chahal. Chahal sent him to the pavilion for 12 runs. This was the biggest turning point of India’s victory, the absence of Steve Smith.

Bowlers did wonders

The wickets of the host team kept falling at regular intervals. Playing his first T20 International for India, young Pacer T Natarajan performed brilliantly and took 3 wickets for 30 runs. Concussion Institute Yuzvendra Chahal took 3 wickets for 25 runs to be the Man of the Match. Pacer Deepak Chahar got one wicket.

Captain Virat Kohli returned cheaply

Opener Shikhar Dhawan could do nothing special and became the victim of Mitchell Starc by scoring just 1 run. Sanju Samson was dismissed for 23 runs off 15 balls. Manish Pandey (two runs off eight balls) also returned to the pavilion cheaply. Pandya and Samson, who performed brilliantly in the ODI series, were caught on the bounce of the pitch. Mitchell Starc took two wickets for 34 runs but proved expensive in the death overs. He initially bowled Shikhar Dhawan bowling at a pace of 145. Inexperienced leg-spinner Mitchell Swapson bowled consecutive short balls but also took the valuable wicket of Indian captain Virat Kohli (9) who returned with a return catch.

Australian batsmen failed

Australia’s opening pair gave a strong start. But after that, Yuzvendra Chahal drove the salute pair. After that Chahal also drove Smith.

Ravindra Jadeja becomes a troubleshooter

All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja’s aggressive innings proved to be a ‘troublesome’ for India. Jadeja batted strongly in the last over, scoring an unbeaten 44 from 23 balls with 5 fours, 1 six. Batting at number seven, Jadeja hit a six off the fourth ball of the 19th over of Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood and then hit fours off the next two balls. Jadeja batted at number 7 with this, becoming the best Indian batsman to score in T20 International. Despite hamstring injury, Jadeja scored 34 runs in the final 2 overs while batting relentlessly.
