BCCI general manager: BCCI invited applications for the post of General Manager – Game Development – bcci invites application for general manager game development following saba karim resignation

The Board of Cricket in India (BCCI) has invited applications for the post of General Manager (GM) – Sports Development after the resignation of Saba Karim resignation as in-charge of cricket operations. Karim was asked to resign earlier this month after accepting the resignation of former board chief executive Rahul Johri. The deadline for this application is August 7.

Ratnakar Shetty was the last to hold the post of Sports Development. Shetty retired in March 2018. Karim, a former India player, was appointed as General Manager Cricket Operations in December 2017. He was in charge of domestic and women's cricket.

According to the BCCI website, the general manager of game development will be responsible for determining and monitoring 'home match tour schedules' in addition to 'match playing rules, pitch and outfield'.
