Mahim Verma resigned from BCCI vice president post
Vice Chairman of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Mahima Verma Has resigned from his post. The BCCI will officially take a decision on his resignation when its regular functioning starts at its headquarters in Mumbai. Sources aware of the matter said, “Verma has sent his resignation letter to the board.”

Verma has also been the Secretary of the Cricket Association of Uttarakhand (CAU). A state association-affiliated official said Verma’s decision has once again highlighted issues with the Lodha panel report.

The official said, ‘This has highlighted one of the many problems in the Lodha report. The term of the vice-president is considered as the tenure of an officer and yet there is no real authority other than to wait till the Speaker is deprived.

Verma was made the vice-chairman of the BCCI on 23 October last year. whereas Saurabh Ganguly Jai Shah was elected Secretary, Jayesh George as Secretary and Brijesh Patel was elected as IPL Chairman.
