Bengaluru FC have started preparations for their campaign for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup here on Friday, under the supervision of new coach Marco Pezzaiuoli after a poor season in the Indian Super League (ISL). The team players took some rest after the ISL campaign ended and have now returned to the training camp.
Pejaeuli said, ‘This is my first practice session with the team. this was good. It is a different style of practice and I thought the team would enjoy it and they did. From the first moment he gave his hundred percent and this is what I expect from him.
This season 22 players participated while skipper Sunil Chhetri stayed away from it due to the grip of Kovid-19. The team is scheduled to play its first match of the opening leg of the AFC Cup on 14 April in Goa.
