Hundreds of cricketers who have played for Bihar in BCCI seniors to under-16 tournaments have not yet received the dearness allowance and travel allowance and match fees of the previous season. IPL petitioner Aditya Verma has written a letter to the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Jai Shah, alleging financial irregularities in the board of coaches up to Rs 11 crore.
State Union General Secretary Sanjay Kumar says that Verma's allegations are true. Verma said, “I would request the board secretary to look into the situation of Bihar cricketers who did not get any money while the board gave Rs 11 crore for them.”
