Black Panther 2 which currently works remained a mystery long after the film’s lead – the tragic and unfortunate 2020 passing of Chadwick Boseman. For the unknown, the beloved actor passed away last year after losing colon cancer and a battle. Following the fans’ argument, it was confirmed in advance that his role would not decline. Now, writer / director Ryan Kugler has finally revealed some details of how he is going to tell a monumental story without star Chadwick Boseman who is returning as T’Challa.
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige recently spoke to Deadline and revealed how the team plans to move on without its leading star and the heart of the film, the late Chadwick Boseman. Feige said fans can expect the story about Wakanda, as was the previous one in the franchise. The team is aiming to explore locations, characters and subcultures within Wakanda for the upcoming film.
He said that the team is not planning to add Chadwick through CG and they are still determined not to reprise the role of T’Challa. Feige said writer Ryan Coogler is tough at work, trying to figure out how to do justice to the script and film, as well as leaving behind the legacy of the last star and former Black Panther Chadwick Boseman. Feige said that currently, the teams focused on the mythology and inspiration of Wakanda.
Bosman was diagnosed with stomach cancer. The actor did not speak publicly about his diagnosis. His sudden demise came as a huge shock to his fans.
