Bollywood Drugs Case: After Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor joins NCB Office to the Investigation

Mumbai: A ‘drug angle’ surfaced during the investigation into the case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. The NCB has launched a massive crackdown against the use of banned drugs in Bollywood and on 25 September questioned the talent manager Karishma Prakash of Rakul Preet Singh and Deepika Padukone. Manager Jaya Saha, CEO of Kavan Talent Management Agency Dhruv Chitgopekar, ‘Udta Punjab’ producer Madhu Mantena Verma among many others.

Deepika Padukone reached the NCB Special Investigation Team (SIT) office in Mumbai earlier today. Allegedly, the ‘Padmavat’ actress was earlier questioned alone and is currently face to face with her talent manager Karishma Prakash for questioning. Karishma has been summoned by the agency for another day.

On the other hand, actresses Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan will also be questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) today. ‘Stree’ has reached NCB’s Zonal office in Mumbai to be involved in the drug case investigation related to the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death as she was allegedly present in the success party of ‘Chhichhore’ in ‘Dil’ . The NCB has already arrested Ripa, Shoik, Miranda, Sushant Singh Rajput’s personal employee Dipesh Sawant and 16 others in the case. Riya, Shyik, Miranda and Sawant were in judicial custody. The officer said that Deepika’s alleged chat with her manager Prakash while discussing drugs with her in October 2017 brought her under scrutiny, Shraddha and Sara’s role surfaced after Saha’s interrogation.
