new Delhi: The two were questioned by the NCB last month, following the revelation of an alleged drugs chat in 2017 between Deepika Padukone and her manager Karishma Prakash. In the latest development, the Narcotics Control Bureau told the court in Mumbai that they would not take any drastic action against Karishma Prakash.

According to a PTI report, the agency said in a Mumbai court that they would not take any report ‘coercive action’ against Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash by 7 November.

A few days ago, the NCB also raided Karisma’s Versova residence and recovered 1.7 grams of charas and at least 2 bottles of CBD oil, a report by The Indian Express said. Prakash was earlier questioned by the NCB in connection with the FIR registered in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
An NCB official told the publication, “Prakash’s name has come up during the interrogation of one of the peddlers arrested by us, in which we want to bust the drug network around Bollywood. Based on information, we raided his residence today. We got 1.7 grams of charas and at least two bottles of CBD oil. “
Further stating that Deepika’s manager Karishma violated the sections of the NDPS Act, the officer revealed that there is nothing that is linking the ‘Finding Fanny’ actress to the case.
