Up to 70 percent discount is also being given on Snapdeal by this sellers.

Up to 70 percent discount is being received from Ethnic Jewelery Brand Darshini Design. Nutrition and supplement brand Nutrabe is offering up to 45 percent discount, while makeup brand Swiss Beauty is offering 35 percent discount on makeup products. If you want to buy new clothes, then you will get a discount of up to 70 percent on behalf of Ethnic Wear brands Mahagita and Janayasa. Apart from the offers, the special thing related to these products is that they are all Indian brands.

Many opportunities found in Kovid lockdown
During the lockdown, local sellers were challenged to keep their shops and businesses closed and buyers were not able to go to the market except to buy goods online. To eliminate this distance between buyers and sellers, Snapdeal gave local sellers space on its platform and got a good response. Rajneesh Wahi, Senior VP, Snapdeal, says that many Indian sellers are offering better value products at lower prices, which is the reason they are liked in the market. On Snapdeal, it is easy for sellers to create their account and start selling, Rajneesh said that all the sellers on the site are Indian and anyone can start their products in a few minutes by registering with the help of GST number. The good thing is that Snapdeal itself helps sellers who are not experienced in selling products online. From the marketing of the products to creating ads and promo videos for them, Snapdeal’s team does it. Sellers do not have to pay any separate fees for this.

Most buyers from non-metro cities
Talking about the statistics, Snapdeal, India’s third largest marketplace, has worked on making itself a value focused platform. In the last one year, 2 crore new buyers have been added on the platform with more than 5 lakh Indian sellers. About 85 percent of Snapdeal buyers are from non-metro cities. Pradeep Chandwani, who lives in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, is selling electronic products and believes that online demand nearly doubled after Kovid lockdown. Lucknow based Medical Aquarium Seller Amar Nath Bansal has also become a brand from a cellar and gives its credit to the shopping platform.
