new Delhi: On October 15, the Bangalore police raided Vivek Oberoi in Mumbai in search of his brother-in-law Aditya Alva. Recently a lookout notice was issued against Aditya in connection with the drug scam in the Kannada film industry. Apart from being the brother-in-law of the accused ‘Road’ actor, the accused is also the son of the late minister Jeevanraj Alva.

In the latest development, Vivek Oberoi’s wife Priyanka Alva Oberoi has been given notice by City Crime Branch Bengaluru over her alleged links with brother Aditya Alva in connection with the Sandalwood drug scam.
An ANI report claimed, “City Crime Branch Bengaluru has given notice to Priyanka Alva Oberoi regarding her relationship with brother Aditya Alva in the sandalwood case. #Karnakat CCB raided actor Vivek Oberoi’s Mumbai-based residence in search of his relative Aditya Alva.
The CCB raided the residence of Vivek Oberoi in search of Aditya who is absconding for the past one month as the police initiated action against drug peddlers, suppliers and rave party organizers.
A top police officer told PTI, “Vivek Oberoi is his relative and we got some information that Alva is. Therefore a court warrant was obtained and the team of the Central Crime Branch went to his house in Mumbai. “
Not only this, the Karnataka City Crime Branch last month also raided a property owned by Nandini Alva, mother of Aditya Alva.
More than 15 people, including Kannada film actresses Ragini Dwivedi, Sanjana Galrani, Rev Party organizer Viren Khanna, realtor Rahul Thons and some Nigerians have been arrested so far in the alleged drugs case.
Police have also interrogated Ricky Rai, son of former underworld don-social activist Muthappa Rai, a day after his house was raided in Hebbal in northern Bengaluru. The police believed that Ricky had given asylum to Aditya Alva and so they called him to come in reference to the whereabouts of the accused. The police also suspect Ricky Rai as he is in contact with some of the accused in the Chandan drug scam.
