Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui: Ayushmann Khurrana and Vani Kapoor shoot for Abhishek Kapoor’s romantic drama

Bollywood’s heartthrob Ayushmann Khurrana has managed to win hearts with his power-packed performances in his films. The actor, who made his debut with ‘Y Vicky Donor’, has become one of the most sought-after male stars in the Hindi film industry. K Kedarnath director Abhishek Kapoor has rode in Ayushman for his upcoming project in Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. The actor of ‘Badami Ho’ will be seen romancing in a romantic drama with Vaani Kapoor. The makers of Prem Kahani have started shooting for the flick in Khurana’s hometown Chandigarh.

The Andhadhun ‘star took to social media to announce his next film. He expressed excitement about shooting for the first time in his hometown. Ayushmann wrote, “Next stop: My hometown Chandigarh for the first time. Excited to be part of Abhishek Kapoor’s delightful progressive love story #ChandigarhKareAashiqui. Co-starring Vaani Kapoor produced by Bhushan Kumar and Pragya Kapoor.”

Vani Kapoor also shared the same photo with the caption, “It’s time to fall in love. Thrilled to be a part of Abhishek Kapoor’s delightful progressive love story.”

According to reports, Ayushman Khurana will be seen playing the role of a cross-functional athlete in ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’. The ‘Dream Girl’ actor is teaming up with Vani Kapoor for the first time in his career. On the professional front, the ‘Shubh Mangal Savdhan’ star was last seen in ‘Gulabo Sitaro’. Shoojit Sircar’s direction, which also starred Amitabh Bachchan, was aired live on Amazon Prime Video on June 12, 2020.

Talking about Vani Kapoor, the ‘War’ actress will next be seen in ‘Belbottom’. The city of Tinsel recently returned to Mumbai after completing the shooting of the detective thriller in Scotland. The much-awaited flick also stars Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi.
