The new iPhone 12 lineup has recently been launched by California tech company Apple. In this lineup, apart from iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, the smallest 5G phone iPhone 12 Mini is also included. Apple is not offering charging adapter in the box with new devices and this year brought new MagSafe Chargers. Now it has been revealed that the smallest iPhone will be slower charged than the rest of the models.
The report by Mac Rumors says that the iPhone 12, 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max will give users a 15W wireless charging speed. At the same time, the small iPhone 12 Mini will only offer a peak charging speed of 12W. However, the actual speed of charging will depend on many factors, including temperature, current battery charge, and system activity. The support document states that a minimum of 20W USB Type-C charger can be used for optimal charging speed.

MagSafe Charger Use
Apple has asked that the MagSafe charger be connected to the iPhone 12 before powering it. If you connect the MagSafe charger to the smartphone without plugging it in power, it will be set to lower current until you remove it for three seconds. In this case, it is necessary to separate it from the phone for maximum charging speed. The default output of the MagSafe charger will be 7.5W when charging AirPods.
