Officials of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) expect the ICC Corona virus-infected player to field another player (Substitute) when the West Indies and Pakistan teams visit his country for the Test series. Will approve According to the BBC report, the ECB is in talks with the ICC about changes in sporting conditions.

ECB Director Steve Elworthy said, “The ICC is still considering a change of player infected with Kovid-19. That still needs to be agreed upon. I hope this will be implemented well before the Test series starts in July. '

This change will be applicable in Test cricket, but not in ODI and T20 International formats. At present, during the Test, the player can be changed in case of stun.

In the event of injury or any other illness, another player can field but not batting or bowling. The ECB has postponed the domestic season till August 1, but plans to hold the Test series against the West Indies and Pakistan in a biologically safe environment.
