Metropolitan Magistrate Bhagwat T Zirpe, while ordering the inquiry, said it was necessary in deciding the role of the accused.
The court also asked the concerned police station to submit an inquiry report by 5 December.
Advocate Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh had approached the court saying that the Amboli police did not take any action, where they had lodged a complaint against the sisters.

After verification of the complaint, the Metropolitan Magistrate stated that the evidence against the accused was electronic in nature and police investigation was necessary for the proceedings against the accused.
