Veteran Bhajan singer Narendra Chanchal died at Apollo Hospital in Delhi after a long illness. He was 80. The singer was hospitalized for the past two months, as he was not well.
Singer Daler Mehndi expressed grief and expressed his condolences on social media. Narendra Chanchal was born on 16 October 1940 in Mandi, Amritsar. The religious atmosphere in his family inspired him to sing bhajans and bhajans. He released an autobiography titled ‘Midnight Singer’ which described the struggles, hardships and achievements in his life.
