In an unfortunate turn of events, Shravan Kumar Rathod of popular music composer Jodi Nadeem-Shravan passed away around 9:30 pm on Thursday night. He was admitted to Raheja Hospital in Mahim, Mumbai. The famous musician died before Covid-19and breathed his last in the late sixties.
And what is more tragic is that he will not be able to pay his last darshan before the cremation of the late music composer’s wife and elder son. According to a report by ETimes, Shravan’s wife and son have also been killed by COVID and are battling it out at Seven Hills Hospital in Andheri East.
Renowned litterateur Sameer confirmed the etimes and said “what could be worse if your closest and dearest people cannot be anywhere near you, neither in your last hours nor when you live Left the world? “
Meanwhile, several Bollywood actors, musicians and filmmakers stepped out on social media on Thursday night to mourn and condole the demise of Shravan Rathore.

Nadeem Saifi and Shravan Rathore, better known as Nadeem-Shravan, were among the most sought-after music composers of the 1990s. Nadeem-Shravan got his big break with Aashiqui (1990) and composed music for hits like Saajan (1991), Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke (1993), Pardes (1997) and Raja Hindustani (1996) and many more .
The pair split in 2005. ‘Dosti: Friends Forever’ was his last film.
