Pakistan finally got their first win on the England tour and that too in the last match. He lost 0–1 in the three-Test series and failed to win in the second match after the first match was washed out by rain in the T20 series. He saved his loss by winning the third match by five runs.
Pakistan scored 190 runs on the basis of innings of Hyder Ali and Mohammad Hafeez, England struggled till the last ball but could reach the score of 185 only. England needed 12 runs off the last two balls. Tom Karan kept England's hopes alive by hitting a six off the fifth ball of Haris Rauf's over. However, Rauf saved the match by throwing the last ball yorker and the series was tied 1–1.
Ali's passion and experience of Hafiz came in handy
On one side was Hyder Ali, who was playing his first match and on the other side Mohammad Hafeez, who has played many matches. Second batsman to score 2000 T20 International runs for Pakistan.
