Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins has said that it is very difficult to digest the defeat against England, coming close to winning twice in the second ODI. England lost 23 for 9 after losing 8 wickets for 149 runs. After this, Australia had started brilliantly for 144 runs for two wickets but the entire team was all out for 207 runs.
The three-match series is now 1–1. Cummins said, ‘I will watch the footage of this match. By the 40th over we felt that the match was in our grip but then the dice turned. We should not have allowed them to cross 200 runs.

He said, ‘This necklace is hard to digest. We bowled well but gave an extra 40-50 runs in the last 10 overs. Cummins said his team would have to perform better on such pitches as it would face similar pitches in the 2023 World Cup in India.
