England's head coach Chris Silverwood said that he would launch his best bowling attack in the third Test match against the West Indies. The three-match Test series is currently tied at 1-1 and the third match starts at Old Trafford from Friday. The Daily Mail quoted Silverwood as saying, “We want to win this match and so we will launch our strong attack.”
He said, 'I will talk to Ed Smith (Chief Selector) and Captain Joe Root and we will make a plan together. It is not going to be easy and you will also get a shock, but if you are in a position that you can sit out world class players then it is very good for England cricket.
England have yet to feed Stuart Broad and James Anderson together. At the same time, the return of Jofra Archer gave the team another strong option. Regarding playing Anderson and Broad together in the final Test, Silverwood said, “It's not clear yet. I think it was right not to feed Anderson in the last match because we have to take care of him so that he can perform well when he plays. '
He said, 'We have been in contact with Archer for the entire Test match. We will take full care of our players as we said. He said, 'His health is our priority, so Jofra has been well taken care of. I think he will be very happy to come with us. He has taken his five days off, both of his Covid-19Test negatives have come and he can return to the team.
