Recently Facebook announced that Messenger app users on Android and iOS will get 'screen sharing' option and now this feature is being rolled out. Till now this feature was only available on the Messenger web but now it can be used on the app as well. Users of this feature will also get support in new messenger rooms. In such a situation, Messenger Rooms can also compete with Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

Demand for screen sharing has increased now, given the increasing need for online video conferencing and meetings. From sharing an official presentation to teachers, screen sharing is required when doing any video or lesson display. With the help of the new feature, users will be able to share their phone screen with anyone on the app itself. With the new update, this feature will be given to all users.

In addition to one-to-one video calls, the new feature on the Messenger app can also be used in group calls of up to 8 users. For this, users have to open the Messenger and make a video call. When the call is connected, the 'Share your screen' option will be found in the bottom tab of the screen. After tapping on it, another user will be able to see your phone screen on their device.
