These guidelines apply to areas outside the contribution zone from 15 October. The film industry is experiencing several setbacks with the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic and the news of the opening of the cinema hall has been welcomed with collective relief by the industry.

Welcoming the news of reopening of movie theaters, several Bollywood celebs expressed their happiness and relief. It is now filmmakers who expressed their satisfaction over the government’s decision to reopen cinema halls.
Producer Anand Pandit, whose latest film The Big Bull is almost complete, says, “I wholeheartedly welcome the news of the opening of more than 50 percent of the cinema halls busy.” This is a strong step in the right direction.
