Former England cricketer David Gower believes that Rohit Sharma, captained by Mumbai Indians (MI), will once again win the IPL title. The second leg of the IPL will begin in the UAE from September 19.
Mumbai is the most successful team in IPL history. It has won the trophy five times. Cricketer-turned-commentator Gavar says that Mumbai’s team can win the trophy for the sixth time as well. Gavar expressed hope that defending champions Mumbai Indians will lift the trophy on October 15.
In a conversation with Cricket.com, Gavar said, ‘Mumbai Indians always win, doesn’t it? No matter how they start, they always win in the end.

Mumbai Indians will start their campaign in the second leg against Chennai Super Kings in Dubai from September 19. Chennai team has won the IPL title thrice.

Gavar said, ‘I saw the only match of IPL a few years ago in Kolkata. The team of Kolkata Knight Riders was playing on this magnificent ground. I have played Test cricket at this ground.
Gavar told that KKR owner Shahrukh Khan had called him to watch the match. Gavar said, ‘I was called by Shah Rukh Khan to watch the match. It was a unique experience. This is my only experience of watching IPL match live. When this ground is completely full of spectators, then there is a wonderful atmosphere here.
