Google Chrome Browser update done immediately, Cert-In issued warning

Google Chrome browser on Windows, Mac and Linux platforms have seen many malfunctions. If you are using Chrome browser version older than 88.0.4324.146, then update it immediately. Users have been advised to update the old Chrome version to the latest version immediately. The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has also issued an advisory to issue an alert to replace the old Chrome browser with the users.

CERT-In stated in its advisory, “Google Chrome has seen multiple flaws that can be used by attackers to execute arbitrary code on a targeted system.” It was mentioned in the advisory that by taking advantage of this drawback, attackers can apply and delete arbitrary code to view and modify the system’s data and also delete it.

Google acknowledged the drawback and said that there are 6 safety fixes in the new Chrome version, which has been incorporated by Exterior Researchers.

Meanwhile, Google has rolled out the beta model of Chrome 89. In the upcoming Chrome version, many new options can be given with Privacy Sandbox. The new tap page in Chrome 89 claims to bring back Discover Feed with modifications. However, its design is expected to be the same as before.
