Indian team captain Virat Kohli has gained one place in the T20 International Rankings released by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday. He has now moved up to the fourth position in the batting rankings. He overtook Devon Philip Conway of New Zealand. Kohli has 717 points, while Devon has 700 points. Kohli played the last T20 International against England on 20 March in Ahmedabad.
Apart from Kohli, KL Rahul is another Indian batsman in the rankings. He is at number 6 with 699 points. England’s David Malan (841) is still number one, while the Pakistani team’s captain Babar Azam (819) is at number two. Australian captain Aaron Finch is at number three in this list with 733 points.
South African wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock has benefited from his brilliant performance against Sri Lanka. He has reached the top-10. Currently at number 8 with a gain of 4 places.
Talking about bowling, South African spinner Tabrez Shamsi remains at number one. He has 775 points, while Sri Lanka’s Vanindu Hasaranga is second with 747 points. Afghanistan’s mystery spinner Rashid Khan is at number three with 719 points. There is no Indian player in the top-10 ranking of bowlers.
