Both the opening Tests were played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. At the same time, the third Test will be played at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Motera from February 24, which will be a day-night test. With a capacity of one lakh 10 thousand, this stadium has become the largest cricket stadium in the world.

All tickets for the third test have been sold out. The administration has approved 50 per cent spectators to the stadium for the third Test. England have to play two Tests and five T20 matches here.

IND vs ENG: Team India took ‘revenge’ in Chennai, beat England by 317 runs

Indian selectors have announced their 17-member squad for the third Test. Fast bowler Shardul Thakur has been released for Vijay Hazare Trophy and now Umesh Yadav will be included in the Indian team in his place. However, Umesh will have to pass a fitness test before that. Umesh will join the Indian team after passing the fitness test.

Umesh, 33, suffered a calf injury on the third day of the second Test against Australia in Melbourne in December last year. Due to injury, he was not included in the team for the first two Tests against England. But if Umesh passes the fitness test, he will get a place in the next two matches against England. Thakur Vijay Hazare will join the Mumbai team for the trophy, which will be their first match with Delhi in Jaipur on 21 February.
