The Indian cricket team, captained by Virat Kohli, will be on a tour of England in June where they will play the final of the Test Championship against New Zealand from 18 June. After this, Team India will take part in the Test series against the host team.
While Kohli and company will be busy playing the Test series against England in July, on the other hand, India’s second team will play a series of 3 ODIs and 3 T20 matches against the hosts in Sri Lanka (Indi vs Sri Lanka).
Many young players may get a chance to tour Sri Lanka. According to the website ESPN Cric Info, Team India will play the first ODI series in Sri Lanka. The first ODI of the series will be played on 13 while the second and third matches will be played on 16 and 19 July respectively. The T20 series will start from July 22. The second T20 will be played on twenty four while the third and final match will be played on 27 July.
Dhawan, Prithvi, Ishaan and Pandaya brothers can get Mauka
Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Navdeep Saini, Khalil Ahmed, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav etc. can be selected for the Sri Lanka tour. The BCCI is yet to announce the squad.
