Cricket fans are returning to the stadium in India from the second Test match between India and England. The match will be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) has allowed an audience of 50 percent of the stadium’s capacity for the second Test match. This will mark the return of spectators to a sports competition in the country after about a year.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has shared a video. On Twitter, he wrote – Dear Team India, the fans missed you and now the fans are returning to the stadium in the second Test. We are desperate to hear the noise of fans in Chepak.
Earlier on Thursday, there was discussion on social media throughout the day that long queues took place outside the stadium and social distance rules were not followed. To this, a TNCA official said that there was confusion initially but things were resolved soon.
