Joe Root did not take any runs off the second ball of Shahbaz Nadeem in the 109th over of England’s innings. The ball hit the pad taking the inner edge of the bat. The Indian team then lost the review.

After this, Ollie Pope did not take any runs off Ashwin in the 139th over. Kohli was not in favor of the review but decided to take DRS after a long chat with the nearest fielders. Pope tried to sweep the ball but was unsuccessful in it. Ashwin was completely convinced of Pope’s dismissal but proved to be wrong. Thus India lost their third review before the third session.
