Virat Kohli-led Indian cricket team will play the third Test match of the 4-match series against the visiting England (India vs England) from February 24 at Motera Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. Prior to this Test match, veteran fast bowler Umesh Yadav has returned to the team after getting fit.
BCCI gave this information on its official Twitter handle. The BCCI wrote, “Umesh Yadav has been included in the Indian squad for the remaining two Tests.” Umesh, 33, passed his fitness test at Motera.
Umesh left home after returning from injury and returned home. He has got a place in the team in place of Shardul Thakur. Shardul has been released from the team to play Vijay Hazare Trophy.

After the injury on Australia tour, Natarajan got a chance to replace Umesh
Left-arm fast bowler T. Natarajan was included in the Indian team after Umesh Yadav was injured on the tour of Australia. Yadav was ruled out of the series on the third day of the Border-Gavaskar series due to an injury to the calf.
Day Knight will play the third Test match between India and England. Both teams are tied 1–1 in the four-match series. England defeated India by 227 runs in the first Test match played in Chennai, while Team India defeated the visiting team by 317 runs in the second Test. After the Test series, a 5-match T20 series will be played between the two teams. After this, the 3-match ODI series will be held.
