Davis Hussey, who has played more than 300 T20 matches in his career, said that there is no rift between Russell and Karthik. Talking to ‘Indian Express’, he said that there is no dispute between the two players but there is a bit of bromance between them.
He said, ‘Karthik and Russell are very close to each other, which is good for the team. Karthik always supports his players which is an example of excellent leadership. Karthik only means winning the match.
In the last season of IPL, KKR had to face defeat in consecutive matches. In a press conference after this, Russell criticized Dinesh Karthik’s captaincy and said that he was not sent up the batting order.
