Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Ian Morgan (Eoin Morgan) has regretted the decision to bat first after winning the toss after suffering a one-sided defeat against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). He said that he should have bowled first. Morgan won the toss and batted first, but the team was able to score 84 runs losing eight wickets in 20 overs.
Bangalore achieved the target at the loss of two wickets in 13.3 overs. After the match, Morgan said, “I think it started with the batting. The quicker we lost four-five wickets was disappointing. Bangalore bowled well, but we could play them well, and with dew, we should have bowled first.

Neither Andre Russell nor Sunil Narine appeared for Kolkata in this match. Regarding the two, Morgan said, “Hopefully, Russell and Naren will fit in and be available for selection.” Two great players of excellent ability, even when they are all-rounders, their absence is a big drawback.
It is worth mentioning that Bangalore did not allow Kolkata to go beyond 84 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs with the help of their best bowling. This simple goal was not difficult for an in-form team like Bangalore. The bowling by the Bangalore bowlers in this match can also be called the best bowling of the season, although the wrong shot selection of the Kolkata batsmen was also due to which the record of the lowest score of this season was shared by Kolkata.
