Punjab Kings batsman Deepak Hooda batted hard on Monday. He completed his half-century against Rajasthan Royals with just 20 balls. He is the second fastest half century in the IPL by an uncapped player. Earlier, Ishan Kishan of Mumbai Indians hit a 17-ball half century in Kolkata against Kolkata Knight Riders in 2018.
Along with this, Deepak Hooda has also become the first uncapped player to score less than 23 balls half century twice in the history of IPL.
Hooda gave Punjab’s innings the needed pace. He scored 64 runs off 28 balls. He hit four fours and six sixes.
