Hyderabad FC scored points in the Indian Super League (ISL) football match at Fatorda Stadium here on Saturday, playing a goalless draw from Bengaluru FC. This is Hyderabad FC’s second consecutive draw with four points from two matches.
However, it was a disappointing match for Bengaluru FC, who are yet to taste victory this season. Both teams played aggressively from the start but the superb defense from Hyderabad disappointed Bengaluru, with star strikers Sunil Chhetri, Christian Opseeth and Udanta Singh battling to aggress.
Hyderabad’s team was better in the first half and in the 25th minute it took a close lead thanks to Lewis Sastre. Bengaluru goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu defended Aridane Santana’s header brilliantly. Both teams made several consecutive attempts in the goal from a distance which were either stopped or they missed the target.
