Reliance Jio, the country's largest telecom company, has discontinued its two cheap plans. These two plans were for Rs 49 and Rs 69, which were exclusively brought only for JioPhone users. These plans have now been removed from the Reliance Jio website, which means that users will no longer be able to recharge them. Reliance Jio named them Shorter Validity Plan. That is, these were plans with low day validity. They were used by users who were looking for cheap plans.
What were the Rs 49 and Rs 69 plans
Both these plans used to come with a validity of 14 days. Different types of facilities were available in both. They were brought about 5 months ago. The Rs 49 plan provided unlimited calling from Jio to Jio, 250 non-Jio minutes and 25 SMS to other networks. Customers were given 2 GB of data for the Internet.
These plans are no longer visible on the website
At the same time, in the Rs 69 plan, unlimited calls from Jio to Jio, 250 non-Jio minutes and 25 SMS were available for other networks. Customers used to get .5GB of data every day for internet. In this way, users were able to use a total of 7GB of data in 14 days validity. Both plans used to get free subscription of Jio apps.
Now this is the cheapest plan
After the closure of both these plans, now the Rs 75 plan has become the cheapest plan for JioPhone users. This plan offers 28 days validity and 0.1GB data is available daily. In this way users can use a total of 3 GB of data. It offers unlimited calling from Jio to Jio, 500 non-Jio minutes and 50 SMS to other networks. Apart from this, you get subscription of Jio apps.
