‘Kai Po Che!’ Clock 8 years: Abhishek Kapoor remembers late Sushant Singh Rajput with an emotional note

New Delhi: It has been almost 9 months since the talented actor Sushant Singh Rajput breathed his last on June 14, 2020. The ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshi’ actor was allegedly found hanging in his Bandra apartment. Since his death, his fans and those close to him have been trying to come to terms with the loss. Recently, the director of his debut film, Abhishek Kapoor, better known as Gattu Kapoor, gave SSR a ‘Kai Po Che!’ Today marks 8 years of its release.

As of today, ‘Kai Po Che!’ 8 years after its release, Abhishek Kapoor took to his Twitter and shared a video. Sharing the video, Gattu Kapoor wrote, “The thrill of embarking on this journey with a new team of a starving 2 is the best in the dawn of his career, which keeps in mind the most … because our film Can’t find love. Gattu Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput shared a special bond. The two worked together in another film, ‘Kedarnath’, which was released in the year 2018. The film also screened Bollywood diva Sara Ali Khan’s first film. So, when the film completed 2 years of its release a few months back, the director of ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ shared a still from the film and wrote, “Itni Saari Yedin Koot Koot Ke Hai Hai, Phir Kabhi Khali Khali Sa Seems like.” # Kedarnath # 2yearsofkedarnath #sushantsinghrajput ‘

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Abhishek Kapoor’s next ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ will feature Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles. The film released in theaters on July 9, 2021.
