Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut had a special message on Saturday for the Maharashtra government and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), which she calls the state government’s pet.
Kangana took her verified Instagram stories to share the laws laid down by Section 351 of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, 1888 regarding the demolition of building structures.

It reads: “Municipal laws – demolition of structures – demolition of the structure of the building can be done only after giving 15 days notice to the affected person – if the Municipal Corporation violates the procedure while demolishing the building, But if the structure is completely illegal, some compensation can be given and in all cases where such compensation is done, the same should be recovered from the violating authorities forever (Paras 10 to 16). “
The actress captioned her post as ‘a special message for the Maharashtra government and her pet BMC’.
The demolition of Kangana’s office by BMC took place when he took a pinch on the ruling Shiv Sena government and compared Mumbai with PoK earlier this month. An order from the Bombay High Court later halted the demolition work.
