Kevin Pietersen, happy with fine on Eoin Morgan and Rohit Sharma, said – not playing with the game

Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen has given Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma and Kolkata Knight Riders captain Eoin Morgan the slow over-rate in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Expressed satisfaction over the imposition of a fine. Peterson said that there is no place for delay in T20 cricket as it is an entertainment package and tampering is not allowed.

On his blog at Betway.com, Peterson wrote, “It’s a great message to the players that Rohit Sharma and Eoin Morgan were fined this week for slowing-over rates.”

Peterson further wrote, ‘I remember when I first played T20 matches in 2004, there was a timer on the scoreboard and you had to complete your overs on time. There could be no compromise in this.
