Janhvi Kapoor, daughter of the late Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, who made her Bollywood debut with ‘Dhadak’ alongside Ishaan Khattar, is currently shooting for Anand L. Rai’s film ‘Good Luck Jerry’ in Punjab. The shooting of the upcoming film was stopped on Monday (11 January) after a group of farmers demanded that the actress should make a public statement on the ongoing farmers protest. According to a PTI report, 20-30 farmers reached the set of the film for ‘peaceful’ protest and insisted that Janhvi make a comment in support of the farmers.
Why was ‘Good Luck Jerry’ shot?
The shooting of the film stopped at Bassi Pathana for two-three hours. The farmer group left the set of ‘Good Luck Jerry’ after the film’s team assured them. After resolving the issue, the producers resumed filming the scenes.
DSP Sukhminder Singh Chauhan of Bassi Pathan said, “All they wanted was an assurance of support from (the actors). Shooting was resumed when they did. It was mutually resolved. Now the shooting is going smoothly.” is.” News agency.
