Telugu superstar Allu Arjun, who tested Kovid positive last week, posted a health update on Monday, assuring fans that he is recovering well.
“Hello everyone! I am doing well with very mild symptoms. Recovering well and there is nothing to worry about. I am still in quarantine. Thank you very much for all the love and prayers you are showing. Many thanks. You are sending my way. Thank you. “The 38-year-old actor wrote on his verified Twitter account.
Arjun had announced the positive test in a social media post on 28 April. “Hello everyone, I have tested positive for Kovid. I have isolated myself at home and am following all protocols. I request those who have come in contact with me. They have tested. Done. Stay home, stay safe and get vaccinated when you get the chance. I request all my well-wishers and fans not to worry about me as I am doing fine, “he tweeted.
Arjun went into self-isolation after contracting the virus and urged people to undergo the COVID-19 test.
On the work front, Allu will next be seen in ‘Pushpa’, which is set to hit the silver screen on August 13, 2021. The action thriller also stars Rashmika Mandana, Fahd Fasil, Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj in lead roles. The Telugu film will also be dubbed in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi.
Several Bollywood celebs including Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt have tested positive for COVID-19 in recent times. They have now recovered from the virus.
