Prince Harry and Meghan, another royal child, are on the way as the Duchess of Sussex, hoping for an addition to their family. Meghan is pregnant with her second child, a spokesman for Duke and Sussex’s Suchita confirmed to CNN on Sunday.
The couple’s son Archie is 19 months old. CNN reported that a spokesperson said, “Yes, Archie is going to be an older brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting their second child.” The Duchess is reported to have had a heart-wrenching miscarriage last summer, and only a few days later won a confidentiality case against Associated Newspapers Limited.
Meghan and Harry’s friend, photographer Mison Harriman, posted a new black-and-white photo of the couple on Instagram to celebrate the news. In it, a barefoot Harry sits on the grass, Meghan on his lap, his hand clasped over a prominent baby bump seen under his casual maxi-dress.
Although the child will be a member of the British royal family, it is likely to be 36 years old as Harry, 36, and 39-year-old former Meghan Markle, are living in Santa Barbara County, California, where Mark was born and raised.
Harry and Meghan’s second child, the fifth granddaughter for Prince Charles, will be eighth in line to the throne, just behind Archie and Harry and her Cambridge cousins, Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5 and Prince Louis, 2
